The CU-MEDi Faculty Development No.2/2021 – Critical Reflection in Health Professions Education: Helping Trainees Learn from their Experiences
This session will provide brief overview of critical reflection, appreciate its role in medicine as an essential skill for resilience, self-directed learning, and professionalism in the medical education both at undergraduate and graduate level. Learn how to teach and support leaners in developing their reflective skill and how to give feedback to on written reflection.
The facilitators have experience with implementation in preclinical as well as in the clinical setting at UCSF and will be happy to share their experiences and lessons learned throughout the session.
