🌏 Building Capacity for Better Type 1 Diabetes Care in Southeast Asia

The School of Global Health, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Action4Diabetes (A4D) Foundation and the Thai Association of Diabetes Educators, successfully organized the T1D Train-the-Trainer International Workshop, held from 17–21 August 2026.

The five-day program brought together diabetes healthcare professionals from Laos, Myanmar, and the Philippines, along with participants joining online from across the region. Through lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on training, and experience sharing, the workshop strengthened knowledge and practical skills in comprehensive Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) care.

💙 Our sincere appreciation goes to all speakers and our multidisciplinary diabetes team for generously sharing their expertise, experiences, and practical insights. We also thank all onsite and online participants for their enthusiasm, active participation, and positive energy throughout the program.

Beyond the five days of training, we hope the connections and friendships developed through this program will grow into lasting regional collaboration—working together toward better, more equitable care and better lives for people living with diabetes across Southeast Asia. 🌏❤️🎉💪
