คณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ลงนามความร่วมมือกับ Singapore General Hospital มุ่งเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา วิจัย และนวัตกรรมทางการแพทย์
On 24 July 2026, the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University (MDCU), welcomed representatives from Singapore General Hospital (SGH) for a meeting and MoU Signing Ceremony at Meeting Room 1, 19th Floor, Rattanawittayapat Building. The MoU was signed by Assoc. Prof. Jiruth Sriratanaban, MD, MBA, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and Assoc. Prof. Tan Hiang Khoon, Chief Executive Officer of SGH. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Chew Khong Yik, Senior Consultant, together with MDCU executives and faculty members; Prof. Unnop Jaisamrarn, MD, MHS, Senior Executive Advisor for International Affairs, Prof. Naricha Chirakalwasan, MD, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Poonpissamai Suwajo, MD, Assistant Dean for Organizational Strategy, Asst. Prof. Chris Charoenlap, MD, Assistant Dean for Integrated Innovation and Digital Technologies, Prof. Myat Htoo Razak, MD, MPH, PhD, Co- Director & Professor, School of Global Health Asst. Prof. Phornlert Chatrkaw, MD, Head, Department of Anesthesiology, Assoc. Prof. Pin Sriprajittichai, MD, Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, Assoc. Prof. Marvin Thepsoparn, MD, Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, Sireedhorn Assavanop, MD, PhD, Lecturer, Department of Anesthesiology.
The MoU provides a framework for developing future collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in research, medical education, faculty mobility and innovation. Discussions highlighted opportunities for joint clinical and translational research, international clinical training, and the exchange of expertise and practices in medical education. SGH’s strengths in multidisciplinary specialist care, its extensive clinical and research base, and its integration of academic medicine with research provide opportunities for meaningful academic and clinical collaboration with MDCU.
A potential area of collaboration discussed was training in transgender healthcare, reflecting MDCU’s interest in developing knowledge and capacity in this field. The discussion also explored opportunities related to innovation and digital technologies, as well as advanced simulation-based medical training, including the potential for staff training and knowledge exchange between the two institutions.
This MoU marks an important step toward building a stronger connection between MDCU and SGH, creating opportunities to connect clinical expertise, research, education, innovation, and international exchange. Both institutions aim to translating these discussions into meaningful collaborative activities that can enrich learning and professional development while contributing to advances in healthcare.

เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (MDCU) ต้อนรับผู้แทนจาก Singapore General Hospital (SGH) ในโอกาสเข้าร่วมประชุมหารือและพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MoU Signing Ceremony) ณ ห้องประชุม 1 ชั้น 19 อาคารรัตนวิทยาพัฒน์ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย ผู้ลงนามของทั้งสองหน่วยงานคือ รศ.ดร.นพ.จิรุตม์ ศรีรัตนบัลล์ คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และ Assoc. Prof. Tan Hiang Khoon Chief Executive Officer, Singapore General Hospital โดยมี Dr. Chew Khong Yik Senior Consultant และผู้บริหารพร้อมทั้งคณาจารย์ของคณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ได้แก่ ศ.นพ.อรรณพ ใจสำราญ ที่ปรึกษาผู้บริหารอาวุโสด้านวิรัชกิจ ศ.พญ.นฤชา จิรกาลวสาน รองคณบดีด้านวิรัชกิจ รศ.พญ.พูลพิศมัย สุวะโจ ผู้ช่วยคณบดีด้านยุทธศาสตร์องค์กร ผศ.นพ.กฤษณ์ เจริญลาภ ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายนวัตกรรมการศึกษาและสารสนเทศ ศ.นพ.เมียต ตู ราซัค ศาสตราภิชานและผู้อำนวยการร่วมสำนักบริหารวิชาการสุขภาพโลก (School of Global Health) ผศ.นพ.พรเลิศ ฉัตรแก้ว หัวหน้าภาควิชาวิสัญญีวิทยา ผศ.นพ.ปิ่น ศรีประจิตติชัย รศ.นพ.มาร์วิน เทพโสพรรณ และ ดร.พญ.สิรีธร อัศวนภ คณาจารย์ภาควิชาวิสัญญีวิทยา เข้าร่วมการประชุมในครั้งนี้
บันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือฉบับนี้เป็นกรอบการพัฒนาความร่วมมือโดยเฉพาะด้าน การวิจัย การศึกษาแพทยศาสตร์ การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร และนวัตกรรม ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือถึงโอกาสในการดำเนินงานวิจัยทางคลินิกและงานวิจัยเชิงแปลร่วมกัน การฝึกอบรมทางคลินิกในระดับนานาชาติ ตลอดจนการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และแนวปฏิบัติด้านการศึกษาแพทยศาสตร์ โดยจุดแข็งของ SGH ในด้านการดูแลผู้ป่วยเฉพาะทางแบบสหสาขาวิชา ฐานผู้ป่วยและงานวิจัยขนาดใหญ่ รวมถึงการบูรณาการการรักษาพยาบาลกับการศึกษาและการวิจัย ล้วนเป็นโอกาสในการต่อยอดความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและทางคลินิกกับคณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ
หนึ่งในประเด็นที่มีการหารือถึงโอกาสในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือ คือ การฝึกอบรมด้านการดูแลสุขภาพบุคคลข้ามเพศ (Transgender Healthcare) ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งประเด็นที่คณะแพทย์ฯ ให้ความสนใจในการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และศักยภาพของบุคลากร นอกจากนี้ มีการหารือถึงความร่วมมือด้าน นวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล รวมถึงการนำเทคโนโลยีการจำลองสถานการณ์ (Simulation-based Medical Training) มาใช้ในการพัฒนาทักษะทางการแพทย์ โดยมีโอกาสสำหรับการส่งบุคลากรเข้ารับการฝึกอบรมและการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ร่วมกัน
บันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือฉบับนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้นระหว่างคณะแพทย์ฯ และ SGH พร้อมเปิดโอกาสให้ทั้งสองหน่วยงานได้เชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้และความเชี่ยวชาญด้านคลินิก การวิจัย การศึกษา นวัตกรรม และการแลกเปลี่ยนในระดับนานาชาติเข้าด้วยกัน
ทั้งสองฝ่ายมุ่งหวังที่จะต่อยอดจากการหารือในครั้งนี้สู่กิจกรรมความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมและเกิดประโยชน์ร่วมกัน เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาวิชาชีพ ตลอดจนร่วมกันสร้างความก้าวหน้าให้กับวงการแพทย์และระบบสุขภาพต่อไป
